Filter patch bags are among the most effective mushroom growing supplies on the nutrient-rich substrate because they can withstand the high temperatures required to sterilise the substrate within them. Every species of mushroom prefers a particular temperature range. Even different varieties of oyster mushrooms require specific temperatures. For example, blue oyster mushrooms require colder fruiting temperatures of 12–18 C. (45-65 F). The optimal temperature range for fruiting pink oyster mushrooms is 18C to 30C. (64-86F). You must follow the instructions included with your mushroom spawn. Choose the optimal temperature for the mushrooms you are cultivating, or use one of our cultivation suggestions. You can purchase a thermometer from online retailers such as Shroomiebros or from the majority of general retail stores. To use it for incubation and fruiting, look for one that can tolerate higher levels of humidity (up to 95% RH). Once your coco coir mushroom substrate begin to fruit, you will need a water sprayer.
