My process for real estate photography is simple!
First, I'll look up the address to determine the best time of day to shoot for lighting. Depending on which way the home faces it could be early in the morning or late in the evening.
We can decide together if you will need to be there or not. Typically for new construction all I need is a garage code. For occupied homes you can meet me there or a key or garage code is fine.
I prefer homeowners not be there while I'm shooting. This makes it much easier for me to be able to move things as needed and get the shots more efficiently. If there are pets in the home please make sure they are locked up, not just in the home or in the yard. I may need to reschedule if I'm unable to shoot due to pets.
It's a great idea to use a staging service, especially for new homes. Staged homes show much better than empty ones. It can make a huge difference! Occupied homes should be clean and organized. I may move little things from counters, pillows, etc. I'll make sure to put everything back in its place. I won't move large furniture or do any cleaning. Please make sure the home is photo ready before I arrive.
Photos will be delivered via dropbox, a digital photo sharing site. You will receive an email with an invite to the photos within 48 hours from the time of scheduled photo session.
